Viktor Gyokeres, who has become one of the most in-demand strikers in the transfer market, might like to join Arsenal rather than Chelsea (per A Bola).
Gyokeres, having scored 34 times in 29 outings in Liga Portugal, is one of the top targets of a host of European clubs.
The Sporting CP forward scored six times in eight Champions League matches in the 2024-25 season.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are looking for a striker, and Gyokeres might be a sound answer.
When it comes to his current deal, Sporting CP can officially keep him until 30 June 2028.
The Swedish international joined Sporting in 2023 from Coventry City.
Gyokeres was a part of Brighton & Hove Albion from 2018 to 2021, spending all his time on loan moves at St. Pauli, Swansea City and Coventry City.
His record for the national team is good, scoring 15 goals in 26 games since making his debut in 2019.
Meanwhile, Arsenal knocked out Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate to reach the semi-finals of the Champions Legaue.
In terms of overall consistency, Arsenal are in much better conditions than the Blues.
