Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to make the deal of Mathys Tel permanent (according to Florian Plettenberg).
The 19-year-old joined Spurs on a season-long loan last summer. However, Florian reveals the North London giants do not want to add the 50-55m euros (£43m-£47m) buy option clause that Bayern Munich are asking for.
Tel has a long-standing deal with Bayern until 30 June 2029. The French Under 21 striker has scored two goals in 10 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this season.
In the 2022-23 season, he was a part of Bayern’s Bundesliga title-winning campaign. In 2022, he played a crucial role in making the Franch side win the European Under-17 Championship.
Tel, a 6-foot-tall striker, scored 12 goals in 60 German top-flight appearances for Bayern from 2022 to 2024. In 2022, the German giants signed him from French side Rennes.
