In the semi-finals, India defeated Australia and New Zealand defeated South Africa. Consequently, India and New Zealand were set to encounter each other in the final match. It was a very special day on 9th March 2025. This was because the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was concluded and two teams clashed for the victory. This final ODI match was held at the Dubai International Stadium, UAE. Initially, the toss was won by New Zealand. The captain decided to bat first.
