Matt Piper, who is an ex-Leicester City winger, is unhappy with the overall attitude of the Foxes in the 2024-25 Premier League season.
Leicester are 19th in the PL table with 17 points in 31 games. They are 15 points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are in the 17th place.
It shows that the Foxes have a very high chance of playing in the Championship next season. On Monday, Newcastle United have beaten the Foxes 3-0 away from home in the English top-flight.
Jacob Murphy’s first-half brace and Harvey Barnes’ 34th-minute goal helped the Magpies win the game 3-0.
This defeat has more or less made the fans of Leicester feel that England’s second division in football will be their home in the 2025-26 season.
Piper is unhappy with the club overall. He told to BCC Radio Leicester: “Nothing surprises me with this group and this manager and this football club at the minute.”
“The anger for me is done, they are sucking the life out of me. This is as bad as it’s ever been and we are a club that has dropped down to League One football.”
Not to forget that in the 2015-16 season, they shocked the world and won the Premier League title. And 10 years later, things have turned different.
It seems that Ruud van Nistelrooy’s move has not worked as a head coach as the fans thought.
