Hugo Ekitike, who is the reported summer target of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, will cost clubs €100million (Bild).
The 22-year-old striker is having a very productive season overall, with 21 goals and nine assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
As the deal between Ekitike and Eintracht Frankfurt will end in the summer of 2029, Dino Tumpeller’s side have the advantage of getting mega sums with his sale.
However, a € 100 million fee would be something that makes him possibly out of Spurs’ reach as they are traditionally not known to spend that much on a player.
This range might seem possible for Arsenal, but spending that much on a young striker might be a hard take for head coach Mikel Arteta.
Ekitike scored just four times in the German top-flight last season. This is the first time he is having such a great time as a striker.
Ekitike came from Reims’ football academy, making his professional debut in Oct 2020.
Having made his first appearance for France U21 in 2024, Ekitike has scored five times in five games.
